Following the bleak surrealism (with the emphasis on realism) from Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos’ Dogtooth and Alps The Lobster arrives on these fair shores for its London Film Festival Gala screening.
Telling the story of the torpid struggle of single people in a strange dystopian future, The Lobster has Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz facing a bizarre end if they do not couple up (with each other or with others) in The Hotel – a last chance saloon of sorts.
