Following his explosive Brit crime flicks We Still Kill/Steal the Old Way, Vendetta and Bonded by Blood 2, Hereford Films producer Jonathan Sothcott is about to take a fresh stab at a chapter in the life of the Kray twins with his upcoming feature, The Krays: Dead Man Walking. The film isn’t due for release until later in the year but HeyUGuys have got an exclusive look at the new poster.

Hereford carved a name for itself as the crafters of slick, brutal British action flicks and horror movies with a firm focus on the international market. With its publishing and a recently launched TV division, Jonathan Sothcott’s company is confidently charting fresh terrain. Their upcoming Kirlian energy chiller Aura (due for release in July) looks set to be an innovative and terrifying leap forward for Hereford’s horror genre slate, and let’s not forget We Still Die the Old Way: the final part of the crime saga/trilogy, which is presently in development and promises to provide an epic finale for the gangsters in their winter years.

It will be fascinating to see how Hereford evolve in the coming years. From here, it seems their snarling old gun-toting geezers with intensifying audacity are far from settling into their slippers any time soon. What with Aura, The Krays: Dead Man Walking and We Still Die the Old Way on the horizon, Hereford’s future looks set to cling wisely to its crime roots, mature its horror gracefully while remaining fittingly fun and blood drenched across the board. Watch this space!
