This afternoon we were treated to the first character poster for Quentin Tarantino’s highly anticipated Django Unchained, and now we’ve had the brilliant full set sent over, giving us a look not just at Christoph Waltz, but also Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, and Samuel L. Jackson.

The latest trailer landed last week, and with rumours of the film premiering in Rome early next month, we may well be getting an idea of just how amazing Tarantino’s next venture is.

“Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award(R)-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award(R)-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles–dead or alive.”

Tarantino is of course once more directing from his own script, with Bob and Harvey Weinstein again serving as executive producers.

Django Unchained will be released in the US on Christmas Day, before coming to the UK a little later on 18th January in the New Year, by which time we’ll know if it will be heading to the Academy Awards the following month. For now, here’s the full set of character posters (including the first we saw earlier), all of which you can click through to enlarge. Enjoy.
