Basing an entire movie around a board-game could be a genius idea or it could be shooting yet here we have the first images of Rihanna filming the new movie, Battleship based around the Hasbro board-game about blowing up other ships on D4, A8 and C1. Exciting stuff! It’s being directed by Peter Berg and also stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, Brooklyn Decker, and Hamish Linklater. It’s currently scheduled for release May 2012 so a little while away yet.
