A few years ago, only regular comic book readers were familiar with the Suicide Squad. That all changed when the team were introduced in Arrow, as the series delivered the first live-action take on the villainous group who are forced to work for the government by going on dangerous missions they may not return from.

Of course, the Suicide Squad are now being brought to the big screen in David Ayer’s 2016 movie. The A-List cast includes Will Smith, Margo Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, and Tom Hardy until he decided to drop out.

That won’t stop the Suicide Squad returning to Arrow, as it has now been revealed that the team will be back in episode seventeen, appropriately titled “Suicidal Tendencies”. Michael Jai White’s Bronze Tiger won’t be there, but it has been confirmed that Michael Rowe will return as Deadshot. The only other confirmed team member as of right now is my Gumenick as Cupid, a character we met a little earlier in season three.

Fans have expressed interest in a small screen Suicide Squad spinoff, but it was recently revealed that it won’t happen due to the confusion it would cause to have two versions running around at the same time.

As exciting as it will be to see the Suicide Squad later this year, it has also revealed that another Arrow/Flash crossover is the works, While the two lead heroes won’t be teaming up again just yet, Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer) and Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) will be taking a trip to Central City in ““All-Star Team-Up”.
