Prime Video has officially announced the premiere date for its upcoming coming-of-age drama ‘Sterling Point,’ while also offering audiences a first glimpse at the series. Created by filmmaker Megan Park (My Old Ass), the eight-episode drama will launch globally on 5 August, with all episodes dropping at once.
At the centre of ‘Sterling Point’ is Annie Jacobson (Ella Rubin), a 17-year-old navigating the uncertainties of adolescence. Raised in New York City alongside her twin brother (Keen Ruffalo) by their loving adoptive father (Jay Duplass), Annie’s life takes an unexpected turn when she inherits her estranged grandfather’s secluded island in Canada. What begins as a sudden upheaval soon transforms into a journey of self-discovery.

On the island, Annie encounters a new world filled with friendships, first love, and long-buried family secrets. The first-look images suggest a blend of intimate character moments and sweeping natural landscapes, positioning Sterling Point as both a personal and an expansive story.
The ensemble cast further enriches the narrative, featuring Amélie Elisabeth Hoeferle, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Bo Bragason, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Nikko Angelo Hinayo, Mabel Strachan, Elle-Maija Tailfeathers, and Missi Pyle.
Behind the scenes, the series is spearheaded by Megan Park, who serves as creator, director, co-showrunner, and executive producer. She is joined by executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage under their Fake Empire banner, alongside Dani Gorin and Tom Ackerley for LuckyChap. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios in association with Fake Empire and LuckyChap.
