The full trailer for Star Wars The Last Jedi is here

It’s here! Don’t waste any time reading this – it’ll just be fan-gush! Run, or scroll down, to see the new trailer for Star Wars Episode VIII otherwise known as The Last Jedi.

Debuting on Monday Night Football, the new trailer expands on the divisive teaser we saw back in April which concluded with the dire words ‘It’s time for the Jedi to end’ from the shouthole of Luke Skywalker himself.

Much has been made of this ‘different’ type of Star Wars film. The gap between Rian Johnson’s vision and fan (and cast) expectations has provided a great deal of drama in the community. Throw up a backdrop of Colin Trevorrow’s sudden exit from Episode XI and the firing of Lord and Miller from the Han Solo film and you can understand why LucasFilm need to find solid ground again.

This looks very much like the foundation they need. The film is out on the 14th of December here in the UK and a day later in the US. Too long in our opinion.
