Spider-Man: Homecoming hasn’t even hit the big screen as yet but talks surrounding his future appearance with The Avengers has been doing the rounds since his appearance in Captain America: Civil War last year. During a recent press gathering, the president of Marvel Studios made it perfectly clear the company still plenty of plans in store for the web-slinging hero.

Having confirmed that Spider-Man will appear in the fourth Avengers movie as well as a sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, Kevin Feige, However, also revealed that the character’s future in its current manifestation with Tom Holland leading the charge in his lycra suit doesn’t go any further than The Avengers 4  and the sequel at this time stating “that is all Marvel Studios has planned with Sony Pictures. Well, for now, that is”. Feige also said Marvel Studios has no part in the upcoming features starring Venom, Silver Sable, and Black Cat.

After making his debut in Civil War, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man thrilled audiences, some may say even stole the limelight from The Avengers family, so it comes as no surprise he will be a permanent feature in the upcoming fourth Avengers outing which is being shot back to back with Infinity War and has been confirmed as having a number of characters appearing in both which now includes Spider-Man. Tom Holland certainly has his work cut out for him, but all these appearances for the young British actor is sure to thrust his name into the big leagues.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts, from a screenplay by Jonathan M. Goldstein & John Francis Daley and Watts & Christopher Ford and Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, and stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.
