Sophie Turner is in final negotiations to play Lara Croft in the ‘Tomb Raider’ TV series set at Amazon MGM Studios.

Turner will become the latest actress to embody the iconic character of Lara Croft, who first appeared in the renowned ‘Tomb Raider’ video game series. This formidable globetrotting adventurer, known for her daring exploits and expertise in archaeology, has been brought to life on the big screen multiple times. Angelina Jolie famously portrayed Croft in two films, showcasing the character’s thrilling adventures and strong personality, while Alicia Vikander took on the role in a 2018 reboot that reimagined Lara Croft’s origins and introduced a more grounded portrayal. Turner’s involvement marks a new chapter for the franchise.
