To celebrate the eagerly anticipated release of Sonic The Hedgehog 3, which opens in cinemas across the Christmas holidays, we had the pleasure for the THIRD time in four years of chatting to the cast and director of the blockbuster film.

Sonic the Hedgehog returns to the big screen this holiday season in his most thrilling adventure yet. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before. With their abilities outmatched in every way, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance in hopes of stopping Shadow and protecting the planet.

Chatting to Ben Schwartz (Sonic), James Marsden (Tom), Tika Sumpter (Maddie), Krysten Ritter (Director Rothwell), Colleen O’Shaughnessey (Tails), Lee Majdoub (Agent Stone) and director Jeff Fowler, we talk all things hedgehogs, sequels, the return of Knuckles and introduction of Shadow (Keanu Reeves), the impact of the series so far and growing audiences across the world, voice acting, stand-in puppets of the highest quality and, of course, the cast’s mutual love and admiration for comedy legend Jim Carrey (who takes on dual roles in the new films) and their memories of sharing the set with him.
