Charles Roven and Richard Suckle are producing the project (they also worked on Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed), as is Allison Abbate (Fantastic Mr. Fox).
Tony Cervone (Space Jam) will direct the movie and his TV credits include The Looney Tunes Show and Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. Matt Lieberman (Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief) wrote the screenplay. Apparently, the studio is planning a Hanna-Barbera Universe similar to the ones they’re in the process of creating for their DC Comics and LEGO properties.
It’s still early days, but that should mean Tom & Jerry, The Flinstones, and The Jetsons will all also be making their way to the big screen alongside Scooby-Doo, but whether or not they’ll be full animated or will incorporate live-action elements remains to be seen.
