Directing Infinity War is a challenge most directors would no doubt love to get their hands on, yet would admit to feeling somewhat terrified at the prospect. Yet for the Russo brothers, they’ve taken it in their stride, and to mark the release of this ambitious ensemble piece, we spoke to the pair in London.

We discussed with the brothers, Anthony and Joe, how much a daunting proposition this project was, and just how much it came to life in the editing suite. They also tell us who their favourite character in the MCU is, and whether they ever felt like fans when on set.

They discuss the establishing of this tricky tone, and how they implemented humour in the most dramatic of circumstances, while they talk about the sheer indestructible presence of Thanos, and we ask what the title will be of the next instalment. Don’t ask, don’t get, right?
