The first Hatchet film was Adam Green’s entry into the slasher sub-genre and although quite enjoyable it was a little lacking. With Hatchet II Green has taken the best parts of the first film and ratcheted them up resulting in an incredibly enjoyable and pretty intense slasher film.
I saw the premiere of the film at Frightfest in London and the Frightfest audience cheered with joy as Green filled the screen with splatter. You can read my review here.

The trailer is, of course, gory but trust me, this is just a tiny taste of what you’re in store for.
