Rebel Wilson has decided to take the plunge into the world of comic book adaptations. The comedic actress has won the rights to adapt the comic book Crowded via her Camp Sugar production banner.

Wilson aims to develop the project as well as producing alongside Oni Entertainment with the creator Christopher Sebela also acting as a producer. It could also serve as an acting vehicle for the star. Currently, the hunt is now on to find a writer to adapt the story for the big screen

Originally written by Christopher Sebela and drawn by Ro Stein and Ted Brandt. Crowded tells the story of a woman named Charlie, leading a quiet normal life, she finds her world turned upside down when she suddenly becomes a target on Reapr, with a multimillion-dollar bounty. Desperate, the woman hires the only person she is able to afford: Vita, the lowest-rated bodyguard on the Dfend app. The two have to work together to take down the aspirational assassins and find out who wants Charlie dead before the campaign’s 30-day period concludes, or their lives are over.
