Last Sunday Sir Christopher Lee was the 2011 recipient of the BAFTA fellowship in London and it celebrated a career which spans eight decades and shows no sign of slowing as he has several high profile roles in his future, not least with his return to Middle Earth as Saruman in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit, but also the legendary actor is reuniting with Robin Hardy for his quasi-sequel The Wicker Tree.

Lee has also returned to the studio where he made his name with Hammer Films’ The Resident which is released on the 11th of March and looks to be a taut thriller which surely will benefit from the presence of one of cinema’s iconic figures.

Hammer have gone back into their archives and sent us some images from Sir Christopher Lee’s films, as well as a few of the production stills from his latest film and there are a treat.
