Lego Dimensions is the new Skylanders-style video-game from the house of brick that combines classic gaming action with collectable Lego toys. More interestingly there is a whole host of licenses appearing in the game.
Having announced the game to include The Lego Movie, Batman, The Lord of the Rings and Oz adventures, some recently released instructions for the game added to this list considerably.
Not only will we be seeing Chris Pratt in the Jurassic World set, Scooby Doo, Portal and The Simpsons but Peter Capaldi will bring his Sonic Screwdriver to bear on puzzles throughout the game as the twelfth Doctor.
This is interesting because it can combine with Chell’s Portal Gun to create a perfect storm of time travel warp gate video-game puzzle. The question is whether the game will need to limit such power gadgets than can warp through walls and go back in time.
Lego Dimensions will be released on Xbox One, 360, PS3, PS4 and Wii U on September 29th.
