Lego Dimensions is one of the outcomes of the insanely successful collaboration between the globally renowned Lego toy company and TT Games who’ve breathed live into the tiny plastic figures in a way that would have been inconceivable a generation ago. Starting off with individually themed games such as Batman, Lord of the Rings and the Harry Potter series Lego Dimensions enables players to mix and match characters and abilities across the many playable environments. From the basic starter pack including Batman, Gandalf and Wild Style players can expand on the game with Fun Packs, Level Packs, Story Packs and Team Packs introducing characters from Lego ranges such as Ninjago through to film and TV characters from Back To The Future, Ghostbusters, Doctor Who and The Simpsons, to name just a few.

The new wave, the seventh includes a Story Pack from the latest film in the Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, a Level Pack of Sonic the Hedghog complete with distinctive rings sound, a Team Pack from Gremlins and then Fun Packs of ET and Fantastic Beasts once again.

We were invited along to the specially themed launch event at a secret venue in the heart of London with games to play and amazing environments to play them in, with some of the best know characters making an appearance too.

Head of Design Arthur Parsons from TT Games was present and we got to talk to him about what it takes to make a TT Game from the inspiration stage through to the amazing voice talent that they have available plus how people react to being Lego-fied.
