Olivia Wilde has signed up to appear in Andrew Niccol’s Logan Run-esque sci-fi thriller which was called I’m.mortal and now isn’t.

Wilde is already lining up a number of high profile roles including Disney’s Tron: Legacy, Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens, The Change Up for Universal and Russell Crowe’s next big thing, The Next Three Days.

She will play the part of Justin Timberlake’s Mother in Niccol’s film, which lays out its scene in a future where genetic advances have enabled those who can afford it to have their aging gene turned off, which takes care of the age issue in the casting.

Here’s what The Wrap give by way of a synopsis,

When a rebel from the ghetto named Will (Timberlake) is falsely accused of murdering a wealthy man for his time, he’s forced to go on the run with a beautiful hostage (Amanda Seyfried). The duo unite in a battle against the system as they struggle to stay alive.

Here’s our coverage on the project so far, and with Cillian Murphy, the aforementioned Seyfried and Vincent Kartheiser, who also hopped on board the I’m.mortal train recently to play Seyfried’s Father, Niccol’s film is shaping up nicely.
