Director and franchise creator John Krasinski has revealed new casting for the upcoming horror sequel ‘A Quiet Place Part III,’ confirming that Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke and Katy O’Brian will join the expanding ensemble.
The trio will appear alongside returning stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe in the highly anticipated third chapter of the acclaimed horror franchise.
Krasinski shared the casting news on his social media channels, posting a photo of the scripts for the new film. Alongside the image, he wrote: “So proud to be a part of this #AQuietPlace family… old and new! Here we go!

The announcement signals that the next instalment is officially moving forward as the series prepares to continue the story of humanity’s fragile survival in a world overrun by deadly sound-hunting creatures.
The ‘A Quiet Place’ universe has grown into one of modern horror’s most successful franchises. The original film, ‘A Quiet Place’ (2018), introduced audiences to the terrifying post-apocalyptic world where silence is the only protection from lethal alien predators. Its sequel, ‘A Quiet Place Part II’ (2021), expanded the scope of the story and introduced Murphy’s character Emmett as a key survivor.
The franchise recently broadened further with the prequel ‘A Quiet Place: Day One,’ exploring the first chaotic hours of the invasion.
While plot details for ‘Part III’ remain tightly guarded, the return of the Abbott family suggests the film will continue their journey while introducing new survivors played by O’Connell, Clarke and O’Brian.
‘A Quiet Place Part III’ is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on July 30, 2027.
