We’ve got a new look at the Alex Pettyfer starring pretty people scif-fi actioner I Am Number Four and this new trailer looks very slick, and gives us a better look at the world director D. J. Caruso has created.

The film stars Pettyfer, Teresa Palmer, Dianna Agron, Kevin Durand and Timothy Olyphant, and co-written by the  scriptwriting duo of Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who are credited alongside one of my favourite writers on Buffy, Marti Noxon, who has also had a hand in the remake of Fright Night.

We’ve seen one trailer already and there’s a handy synopsis to cast your eyes over if you dare,

An extraordinary young man, John Smith, is a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him. Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri, John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events — his first love, powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny.

There’s a report up on Latino Review that DreamWorks films I Am Number Four and Real Steel will both release across the world in IMAX which is good for them I guess. Take a look at the trailer at imagine on a screen the size of a battleship.
