It’s still six months or so until Disney’s revisiting of its iconic 80s film with Tron Legacy, and much of the early groundwork to hype the hell out of this one has been done, and done well.
Trailers, clips, posters, virals, games – Disney know their stuff and their audience. It’s a blessing that Tron isn’t as beset by trembling fanboys as other properties from that era, as its look and subject matter seem pleasingly contemporary and it’s easy to imagine this film coming out of nowhere and still being as impressive.
