A new poster has arrived online for 51 and it’s – well, it’s fantastic actually.
The poster (via IMPAwards) – which bears the subtitle “Welcome to the Future” – proves that less is indeed more with its depiction of a three fingered hand pressing against a large “51” shaped window.
Not to be confused with the critically derided Planet 51 or Oren Peli’s upcomig Area 51, 51 is an indie horror movie being shepherded into a limited release by After Dark Originals. Starring Tron’s Bruce Boxleitner and directed by Jason Connery, After Dark Original’s 51 sees two well known reporters granted limited access to the the country’s most secretive military base. Soon at odds with a ‘long-term visitor’ looking to escape, you can expect a terrifying (or, if the poster is anything to go by, at least eerie) assault on the senses as Alien meets 2008’s Quarantine.
51 arrives in cinema’s this January 28th.
