New poster time for Woody Allen’s next, the ensemble comedy You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, which played to the Cannes faithful last year, which is where we saw it and reviewed it accordingly.
This is not the first poster for Allen’s film, not by a long chalk, and the difference in marketing strategy in the various countries shows that while the Europeans know how to appeal to the usual suspects where as the Red text on White surrounded by mugshots approach seen here and in previous promotional images is jumping on an already heaving bandwagon.
Still, it’s Woody Allen, so I’m in and as per usual all sorts of actors are lining up to be directed by the great man.
