One of the biggest surprises for me at SXSW 2011 was the fact that The Beaver was actually an excellent film! It’ll have you laughing at the beginning and then crying by the end. Jodie Foster was at the Premiere to introduce the movie and opened by telling us that this wasn’t a comedy and she is dead right!
Foster (and indeed Gibson) should be so proud of what they’ve achieved with The Beaver. You can read our review of it here.
IMPA have got a new international poster for the movie which also stars Anton Yelchin and lady of the moment, Jennifer Lawrence. It’s scheduled for release 10th June in the UK.
This is one you’re going to love so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for more as it’s released.
