While HBO continues to tease us with posters and trailers teasing the fate of Jon Snow, a new promo video for the American cable network has revealed some never before seen snippets of footage from Game of Thrones season six! Starting around the 2:15 mark, it only lasts for a few seconds, but it definitely leaves us with a lot to think about until next April!
Featured in the video are shots of a concerned Daenerys Targaryen on a riverbank looking out at something, the villainous Ramsay Bolton riding in front of the banners of House Bolton, and a quick embrace between King Tommen Baratheon and his now released mother, Cersei.
Sadly, this new look at Game of Thrones doesn’t offer up any shots of Jon Snow in action, though we’ve already seen some set photos which appeared to do that, so we can probably wait a little longer. Like the recent Glenn mystery in The Walking Dead, Jon’s fate has had everyone talking since that shocking premiere, and April feels like a very long time away!
Now that Game of Thrones has caught up with George R.R. Martin’s novels, we have absolutely no idea what to expect next year, so this footage is definitely a welcome treat…
