It looks like the appeal of owning a location which was once used in a seminal 80’s film favourite isn’t enough to attract potential buyers.

We ran a story in May 2009 on HeyUGuys Verson 1.0 that the famous stilt house (as seen in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) was up for sale at a cool $2.3 million. It would appear that the property is still on the market (and in these current financial times, its understandable) for a knock-down price of only $1.65 million.

Maybe potential owners were afraid that the former residence of the Frye family came with a surly, gawky-looking teenager with a penchant for kicking the crap out of prized, immaculately looked-after sports cars.
