Variety has just reported that Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, the oh so happy couple from Knocked Up, will be reprising their roles for Judd Apatow’s newest film, his first since Sandler’s Funny People back in ’09.
Production on the film is expected to begin this summer with Universal expecting to release it on June 1, 2012.
I’ll be curious to see how they transform the two supporting actors into feature roles. Mann was Heigl’s sister in the film so I’m sure we will see Rogan and Heigl in there at some point, maybe with a baby too.
Unfortunately details about the plot of the film haven’t been released to the public yet but keep an eye out as I’m sure as filming ramps up we will start to see some spy pictures or other leaks.
