Now that the movie marketeers have thrown themselves with abandon into the raging torrent of the internet there are a few decent uses of the medium cropping up.

One such example is this new motion poster for James Watkins’ big screen adaptation of Susan Hill’s The Woman in Black which is all kinds of creepy, not least the two kids with their eyes scratched out in the photo.

Daniel Radcliffe leads the way with Ciaran Hinds offering his support, but for me the star will be Jane Goldman’s script which I’m hoping squeezes every ounce of scare from the original novel and play.

Here’s the poster,  Entertainment Weekly unearthered this one, why not try clicking on the scratched out eyes? Go on. Dare you.
