class=”alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-10237″ title=”Wall Street 2: Shia LeBouuf, Josh Brolin and Michael Douglas” src=”×150.jpg” alt=”” width=”220″ height=”150″ />I watched the original Wall Street over the weekend in preparation for the sequel which should be with us 23rd April. The second installment is called Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps and if it’s anywhere near as good as the original, we’re in for a treat.

Oliver Stone returns as director with Michael Douglas returning as the Wall Street mogul, Gordon Gekko. Shia LaBeouf becomes his work in progress in this movie after Gekko comes out of prison to find LaBouf dating his daughter, played by Carey Mulligan. There’s word that Charlie Sheen returns to cameo in the new movie as shooting of his TV series, Two and a Half Men meant he couldn’t commit to the entire movie.

I think Wall is a bit like West Wing in that often, you’ve not entirely sure what’s going on with regards to the financial talk but the acting is so great that you get drawn into every word. I’m excited to see this new movie, especially after watching the original. Josh Brolin, Susan Sarandon and Frank Langella (who also appeared in the original) complete the main cast.
