It’s been a title that has been long overdue in coming, but Collider has reported that the ‘Men in Black’ spin-off finally has its title, ‘Men in Black International’.
The reveal came to them from the ‘Men in Black booth at Brazil Comic-Con (or CCXP) where Sony Pictures is due to host a panel on Saturday.
The MIB Spin-off will see Em (played by Tessa Thompson) as she goes on a journey to prove herself by joining the London branch of the MIB. She is partnered with “former ace” MIB agent “H” (played by Chris Hemsworth) and the pair soon find themselves embroiled in a murder mystery that will see them crossing the globe.

The Fate of the Furious and Straight Outta Compton filmmaker F. Gary Gray takes the helm which will see Emma Thompson reprise her role as Agent O. As well as Thompson and Hemsworth, the cast also includes Kumail Najiani, Rafe Spall, Liam Neeson, and he highly sought after Rebecca Ferguson.
The project is expected to be within the same universe inhabited by Agent’s J and K (Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones). With Straight Outta Compton director, F. Gary Gray taking the helm of a script that has already been written by Iron Man scribes, Matt Holloway & Art Marcum. Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are back as producers and Steven Spielberg will be executive producers.
Even though the name leaves a lot to be desired in the creativity stakes, at least we can now give it its own identity. A release date of June 14, 2019, has already been set.
