Fran Kranz is well known as an actor, but with Mass he makes his feature directorial debut. It’s not an easy ask either. Set in the aftermath of a school shooting, his film explores the nature of guilt, the burden of responsibility and the endurance of love.
Last night Mass had its UK Premiere as part of the London Film Festival and we were on the carpet to interview the cast and crew. Written and directed by Fran Kranz, it stars Ann Dowd, Jason Isaacs, Martha Plimpton, Reed Birney, Breeda Wool, Kagen Albright, Michelle N. Carter and Michael White.
