Lupita Nyong’o is all set to star in Paramount’s ‘A Quiet Place’ spinoff ‘Day One.’

Michael Sarnoski will helm the film which is set for release on March 8, 2024. Story details are being kept under wraps, but it comes from an original idea from John Krasinksi, who directed and co-starred in the first two ‘A Quiet Place’ movies with Emily Blunt.

Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will produce via Platinum Dunes. Krasinski will produce via his Sunday Night banner with partner Allyson Seeger executive producing. In addition to this spinoff, a third instalment of the main A Quiet Place film series is in the works and set for 2025.

Nyong’o shot to fame with an Oscar-winning performance for ’12 Years a Slave’ she will next be seen in ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,’ which debuts on November 11th.
