The cast of Avengers: Infinity War keeps growing, and with the likes of Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy already confirmed to appear, it feels like every week brings us a new casting or character reveal (Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage is the latest addition).

Now, Karen Gillan has confirmed that she will be making an appearance in both Avengers: Infinity War and the currently untitled Avengers 4, saying in a recent interview with the BBC that, “I’ll be making a little appearance in the next Avengers movies.” While we don’t know an awful lot about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 right now, concept art points to Nebula joining the team, so it makes sense that she’ll be here alongside Star-Lord and company.

Bear in mind that she’s also Thanos’ daughter, and considering the fact the character played a key role in The Infinity Gauntlet comic book, the same being the case on the big screen wouldn’t be too surprising. In that tale, Nebula was forced to watch the Mad Titan tear apart the universe before being able to get her hands on the Gauntlet and setting things right.

Avengers: Infinity War isn’t expected to be a direct adaptation of that, however, so her role could end up greatly differing in live-action. We’ll have to wait and see, but possibly the greatest (and biggest) superhero movie cast of all-time just got a whole lot more exciting.
