Disney+ has set Josh Duhamel as the new lead for the net season of ‘Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.’
Instead of taking over the role of the departing Emilio Estevez, Duhamel will take on the new character of a former NHL player turned coach, Gavin Cole. Cole is described as inspirational, charming and hardcore as he is big on the hockey metaphor that applies to life. He runs the super-intense summer hockey institute were the Mighty Ducks land for season two.
Estevez departed the show after a contract dispute rumours quickly emerged that he failed to comply with the mandatory COVID vaccine proof but swiftly went on to state it was down to creative differences.
