Jessica Chastain and Adam Driver have joined the cast of the AppleTV drama series ‘The Dealer.’

The series has been described as “a biting exploration of power, class, seduction and culture set inside the glittering world of the high-end art market, told through the eyes of an aspiring super gallerist, played by Chastain, and the tangled relationship with her most gifted and unnerving artist, played by Driver.”

Lucas Hnath has penned the series and will also serve as an executive producer. Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer will executive produce for Media Res, while Chastain and Kelly Carmichael will executive produce for Freckle Films. Driver and Alan Poul also executive produce along with Sam Gold and Sarah Lunnie. Arianna Anderson will serve as co-executive producer. Gold is also directing.

Chastain upcoming projects include  limited series ‘The Savant,’ which was filmed in 2024 and is currently awaiting a release date.

Having made his name in the critically-acclaimed HBO series ‘Girls,’ This is only the second series in Driver’s career in which he has starred.
