The first Green Hornet trailer appeared and divided audiences, and as this new International trailer is virtually identical it is unlikely to change opinions.
The sole reason I’m waiting for more from this one is the presence of two men – director Michel Gondry and Christoph Waltz.
At first glance this seemed to be an odd move for Gondry, whose previous career trajectory did nothing to suggest a big budget 3D superhero flick was on the cards (and I’m really looking forward to seeing his Gondry family under the microscope documentary The Thorn in the Heart).
And Waltz was given the most almighty boost after winning awards and influencing studios with his turn in Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, and he must have seen something more than the money to pick this one.
