It would appear Wonder Women director Patty Jenkins and Chris Pine can’t get enough of working together. Whilst Pine has reunited with Jenkins on the set for the sequel to the superhero adventure a new trailer has emerged for their series collaboration I Am The Night.
Based on true events, the six-episode series sees Pine play Jay Singletary, a former Marine-turned-hack-reporter/paparazzo, desperately trying to break open a sordid case in Hollywood.
The limited series tells the incredible story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley) who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynaecologist, Dr George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery.

Jenkins helmed the series as well as serving as executive producer. The series debuts in January 2018 in the states on TNT.
