Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul.

Honk For Jesus. Save Your Soul. is a brilliant new satire based around organised religion, and marks a really exciting venture for sisters Adamma and Adanne Ebo, who takes on directing and producing roles, respectively. To mark the film’s release in the US, and it’s launch on streaming service Peacock, we had the pleasure in speaking to both sisters, as well as one of the film’s leading stars, Nicole Beharie.

We discuss challenging powerful organisations, and the balance in being barbed and satirical, but appreciating the sensitive ground on which this film stands. We also discuss the art of improvisation, which was encouraged here, and collaborating with leading stars, the brilliant Sterling K, Brown and Regina Hall. Watch both interviews, in their entirety, with Nicole Beharie and the Ebo sisters, below.
