HeyUGuys brings you the latest in World Cinema film trailers in association with Film Dates UK.

Each week we’ll be showcasing some of most anticipated foreign releases as well as highlighting a few hidden gems which may have fallen off your radar. It’s no surprise that Hollywood has turned to World Cinema for inspiration in recent years with the number of remakes getting more and more popular.

Whilst it remains to be seen how many of these remakes go on to succeed or stay true to their original story counterparts, we decided it was high-time we turned the spotlight onto the next wave of foreign films to grace our screens.

This week we have 3 new trailers for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Chalo Dilli

UK Cinema Release Date: Friday 29th April 2011

Synopsis: Chalo Dilli is a road movie. A journey that begins with the dynamic Mihika Mukherjea. A strong willed young woman who is a Senior Vice President of a top multinational Financial Institution in Mumbai. A jet setter, Go-getter, no nonsense woman, Mihika divides the world into losers and winners and knows which side she is on. Mrs Clear Cut! The premise is simple. Mihika is heading back home from Mumbai to Delhi (to her banker husband who lives and works there), and misses her flight and encounters Manu Gupta, a podgy and loud ‘ Ladies Cut-piece’ merchant who has a small 10 by 10 shop at Karol Bagh Delhi. Manu is everything that Mihika isn’t. Loud. Crass. Obnoxious. Rude. (He is that guy who talks on his cellphone loudly in the theatre and then spits gutkaa juice in the aisle…). He isn’t an idiot. He is very smart. Street smart. But mostly over smart. And boy…do they pay for it! As fate (and the script) would have it… Mihika lands up in a situation where she and Manu are stuck together for the rest of the journey to Delhi. (Synopsis courtesy of FilmReleaseDate.com)

Discreetly, he makes contact with Pierre (Canet), a French engineer working in Moscow and little by little passes on documents to him – mainly concerning the United States – containing information which would constitute the most important Cold War espionage operation known to date. During a period of two years, French President, Francois Mitterrand and US chief Ronald Reagan were to personally vet the documents supplied by this source in Moscow, to whom the French Secret Service gave the codename Farewell. Farewell smuggled out information that would cause ructions that sounded the death bell of the Soviet Union.
