Developed by Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller for Disney+ and based on is based on the book series by R. L. Stine, this new series abandons the episodic anthology format of the 1995 original television series to focus on a serialised anthology style of storytelling instead, changing storylines from season to season instead of episode to episode.
Season 2 stars Jayden Bartels and Sam McCarthy as two siblings, Devin and Cece attempting to adjust to a life with their recently divorced dad Anthony. When the duo discovers a threat stirring, they quickly realize that dark secrets are among them, triggering a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery.
We spoke to Jayden and Sam about starring alongside Friends star David Schwimmer in the show. We also spoke about their own favourite horror films and series and what kind of movies they grew up on and what genres they want to focus on in the future.
The series will be released on Disney+ on January 10, 2025.
