Written by and starring the comedic genius Nick Frost, known for his roles in cult classics like Spaced and The Cornetto Trilogy, this hilarious and horrifying hybrid film from Swedish director Steffen Haars follows a hapless family as they embark on a seemingly idyllic holiday to a remote Swedish island.
Their peaceful getaway quickly spirals into a nightmare when they encounter the wrath of the island’s eccentric and fiercely protective residents. To make matters worse, a notorious serial killer is on the prowl.
We recently spoke to Nick Frost, comedienne Aisling Bea, Steffen Haars, Horrible Histories star Sebastian Croft and newcomer Maisie Ayres about their fun shoot in Finnish wilderness.
We also chatted to Frost about the possibility of a sequel for the film and the hilarious alternative title he had in mind for Get Away. Meanwhile Bea chatted about her own relationship with the horror genre. Elsewhere Croft shared with us a secret about his own relationship with the horror genre, while Ayres spoke of her excitement at working with the rest of the cast.
