Gareth Edwards, the director behind the upcoming sci-fi indie thriller Monsters, was recently interviewed by Best Buy in anticipation for the upcoming release of his film later in the month.

In the interview, Gareth discusses how he shot the film, which elements were the most important when shooting, and how conventional film making rules have gone out the window since the dawn of HD camcorders.

The interview is pretty inspiring for those who are actually interested in making their own films since he only used a crew of “two people” and made the film for about ,000.  Not bad for a film that has been taking festivals by storm.

Below you will find the interview with Edwards along with a synopsis of Monsters located below it.
