With acclaimed filmmaker, Ben Wheatley’s Free Fire currently on tour around the UK two brand new 60 second trailers and a poster have been released ahead of its March 31st release. Actually, when we say two new trailers it’s actually the same trailer, but one is full of foul mouthed extremities and the other, for those less favourable to explicit spoutings, is a much cleaner, family friendly version.

The trailer for BFI and Film 4 funded throwback, gun-slinging movie Free Fire gives us a glimpse into the explosively wild world of Wheatley, who has teamed up with Martin Scorsese as executive producer – which explains the influence on Wheatley as co-writer for the mass amount of swearing – for an out and out violent gun fest which turns the sweet angelic looks of Brie Larson, who plays Justine, into a foul-mouthed lunatic when her back is up against the wall.

Also starring alongside Larson in the trailer, we get an introduction to the 70s clad Cillian Murphy, Michael Smiley, Sharlto Copley and Armie Hammer as they go full on mental when the wrong guns are handed over escalating into a hilarious, handbags at dawn gun-off/punch-up.

Alongside Wheatley at the writing table for Free Fire was Amy Jump with Andy Starke of Rook Films serving as producer. Also on the cast of misfits alongside Larson, Murphy and Hammer, you will find Jack Reynor, Babou Ceesay, Enzo Cilenti, Sam Riley, Michael Smiley and Noah Taylor.

We’ve included both trailers below for you to watch.
