Jon is literally watching Shame as I type this post up and now I’m pleased to announce we have the first trailer for the anticipated film. Momentum Pictures bring us the movie which is directed by Steve McQueen and stars Michael Fassbender, Carey Mulligan and James Badge Dale. McQueen and Fassbender worked together previously on Hunger back in 2008.
Shame tells the story of Brandon (Fassbender), a single man who is addicted to sex in any form as long as it does not involve love or intimacy. His ordered lifestyle is thrown into chaos with the arrival of his needy sister (Mulligan).
The trailer is dark and gritty and is embedded below. we’ll get our review up as soon as we can.
It will be in UK cinemas 13th January 2012.
