After launching her career in a huge way opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street last year, Margot Robbie is about to return to our screens alongside another Hollywood legend, this time in the form of Will Smith in Focus.

The film has gone through various iterations, and the original plan was to have Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone reunite with their Crazy, Stupid, Love. directors, and then have Ben Affleck and Kristen Stewart ground the picture. Ultimately, Affleck and Stewart exited as well, leaving vacant the roles for Smith and Robbie to sign on for.

Whilst any of those three couples would have been great to see on the big screen, this first trailer for the romantic crime/comedy shows some great chemistry from Smith and Robbie, and it’s sure to light up at the box office when it lands next year.

A veteran grifter takes a young, attractive woman under his wing, but things get complicated when they become romantically involved.

The two are joined by Rodrigo Santoro, Gerald McRaney, BD Wong, and Robert Taylor, with Glenn Ficarra and John Requa directing from their own script.

Focus hits UK and US cinemas on February 27th, 2015.
