Due out in February next year, Jonathan Levine’s Warm Bodies has long been something to look forward to, led by rising young stars Nicholas Hault (X-Men: First Class) and Teresa Palmer (Wish You Were Here).

Adapting Isaac Marion’s original novel, the first poster for the film has now landed over at MTV, giving us a great look at Hault as one of the walking dead.

“When a highly unusual zombie rescues a girl from imminent death at the hands of his cohorts, their unlikely romance sets in motion a chain of events that will transform him, his fellow dead and maybe even the whole lifeless world.”

Hault and Palmer top an excellent cast, joined by Dave Franco (21 Jump Street), Analeigh Tipton (Crazy, Stupid, Love.), Rob Corddry (Children’s Hospital), and John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich).

Levine, the man behind such brilliant films as The Wackness and 50/50, is directing from his own script, with Bruna Papandrea (Milk) producing alongside Mandeville Films’ David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman (The Fighter).

Warm Bodies will be arriving in theatres on 1st February, 2013 in the US, following a week later in the UK on 8th February. I can’t wait. With any luck, we should be seeing a trailer lurch its way online very soon. For now, here’s the first poster.
