Ahead of its release this Christmas, Sony have this week released the first poster for their anticipated sci-fi film Passengers which stars Oscar Winner Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: Apocalypse) and Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy).
The film tells the story of Jim Preston (Pratt), a mechanic on a long-distance, 120-year journey to a planet in another galaxy who experiences his hibernation pod malfunctioning and awaking 100 years too early. Standed on the spaceship with only androids for company he decides to wake up a fellow passenger, a journalist named Aurora (Lawrence), and the two fall in love.
Directed by The Imitation Game’s Morten Tyldum, the film also stars Laurence Fishburne (Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice) and Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex) and is set for release on December 21st in the US with a UK release two days later.
