The relentless Underworld saga jumps heavily into the cinema schedules once again, with Underworld: Blood Wars coming our way early next year. The first trailer has hit, and it’s exactly what you’d expect. Teeth, guns, fangs, leather and so on.

Kate Beckinsale returns as Selene in this continuation of the series, rather than the reboot which was initially announced. They must have found a little more story to tell for the fifth installment of the series.

Director Anna Foerster has coerced Charles Dance back into the fold, and Allegiant/Divergent main man Theo James is along for the ride. Joining them are Trent Garrett, Tobias Menzies, Lara Pulver, and Clementine Nicholson.

The film is aiming for an early January 2017 release date, making it the perfect Wintertime night out – just avoid the full moon on the 12th – it’ll be An American Werewolf in London all over again…
