After getting a nice little teaser for the re-release of Finding Nemo in 3D at the start of the year, the film’s first full-length trailer has made its way online to reintroduce you to the 2003 film that took home the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

The film is the second of the four films Disney and Pixar announced they’d be re-releasing in 3D after the success of The Lion King 3D. Beauty and the Beast was the first, and Finding Nemo will follow later this year.

After that, we can look forward to seeing Mike, Sulley, and Boo in three dimensions in Monsters, Inc. 3D early next year, and finally (so far) The Little Mermaid 3D towards the end of next year.

Andrew Stanton (WALL-E) and Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3) shared directing duties, with Stanton co-writing the script with Bob Peterson (Up) and David Reynolds (The Emperor’s New Groove).

As you’re no doubt well aware, the star-studded cast lending their voices to the film included the young Alexander Gould as Nemo himself, alongside Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Willem Dafoe, Brad Garrett, Alison Janney, and many more greats.

Finding Nemo 3D will be released in the US on 14th September. No word yet on when we can expect it in the UK, but I’d imagine not too long after that. For now, your new trailer, courtesy of Yahoo Movies.
