What are you doing next Valentine’s Day? Fancy a romantic trip to the cinema with Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele (I just realised that Steele is also a shade of grey – layers!)? Well, the literary might of E. L. James’ erotic trilogy is about the deliver the second big screen outing for Ana and Chris, with a brave new world ahead of them in Fifty Shades Darker.

Turning the tables on their relationship Dakota Johnson’s Ana attempts to move on from her relationship with the troubled, abusive Grey (The Fall’s Jamie Dornan). However it’s not as easy as expected with the tight-trousered spectre of Grey hanging in the air. The past extends a tight grip over the future of these two love birds, and with further complications in the form of Kim Basinger who has been cast as Elena Lincoln, Grey’s business partner and (naturally) former lover.
